Valentine ATC Swap

Here is the Valentine ATC card I make for a SIS swap.

Here is what I used to make the Card:

• Manila Folder index cards and cut them down to 3.5 by 2.5.
• Stamped images from the Autumn Leave Love with a Flourish clear stamps.
• Fiskars border punch for the black border.
• Tim Holtz Distressed inks

Week 1 Challenge - The Best of Me

I saw a post on the SIS board for the Best of Me Challenge. The first week's challenge is to list 5 things you want to do for yourself this week and do them.

So here is my list for this week:

1. Convert the guest room back into my craft room.
2. Start my ATC cards for my 7 Gypsies ATC carousel. I will start by making ATC cards about my immediate Family members.
3. Take one day off this week and just go have fun with a friend.
4. Clean off my computer desk so I will have more space to play with my Silhouette.
5. Start purging things I will no longer use or need.

File Folder Mini Album

This mini album is made using a Manila file folder as the base. I made this as my Christmas Card for mom and put pictures of my sisters and our kids in the tags.

ATC Color Swap

I joined an ATC Color Swap from the SIS site. I had heard about ATCs and was interested in finally trying to make one.

So here is my first attempt at making an ATC. I needed to use blue as my predominant color.

The image is from the Beaded Bodice Stampendous stamp from the Couture Collection. The was stamped and embossed using the Tim Holtz Black Distress Embossing powder. I colored in the flowers and leaves with Lumiere Metalic Acrylics by Jacquard and then went over the colored areas with Glossy Accents. I added some bling with stickles on the dots and then one big bling. I stamped the words fro a Tim Holtz stamp and cut the words apart, inked them and adhered them on top of the fiber with foam tape to give it more dimension.

Here is the back of the ATC. I stamped my initials with the Stampin Up Wild West Alphabet.
The "be different" saying is a stamp from Limited Edition.
